Blueline Magazine…. what can I say? This project, introduced by Vanécia Carr on Monday, is one that I’m particularly excited about. Taking a true labor of love—the Blueline By Domtar website and accompanying Blueline Blog—and converting it into a tangible printed piece is nothing short of exciting. While the creation of a quarterly publication certainly monopolizes quite a bit of our time here at Domtar, we love having the opportunity to take a deeper dive into the subjects, innovations, and personalities we touch on in the Blueline blog. In addition, who with a design background wouldn’t love a regular opportunity to reach out to some of the most inventive and creative commercial printers and graphic designers in North America? Seriously, my job is pretty cool.
Seeing this piece come together during the press check was nothing short of exhilarating. Here’s a few highlights:
